Have you ever wondered why, when all is going so well we always wait for the other shoe to drop?
“This is just too good to be true, I know it won’t last long?”
It’s fear that cripples us and blurs our vision to new possibilities.
We become so paralyzed, so blind to move forward, to see past what is right ahead of us because of fear of failure, fear that we will never succeed.
Fear that we will be so good that it will be bad.
I am here to tell you, do not be afraid to succeed. Do not be afraid to be ahead of your time.
Do not be afraid to lose your friends because of your success. If anything, be glad that those you lost, are gone now. If anyone can’t be happy for your success and want to tap into that grace, they should probably leave your space.
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged because of the king of Assyria (your enemy, the negative voices etc.) and the vast army with him, for there is greater power with us than with him. With him is only the army of flesh, but with us is the Lord our God to help us and to fight our battles.” 2 Chronicles 32: 7-8
Reading and studying the verses subsequent to the versus quoted above, got me thinking just how many times we allow others to distort the truth within us, divide us and destroy our dreams. How often we allow fear to cripple us and come in the way of our success and purpose.
Rise above that fear and stay focused. Fix your hearts and minds on things above and not on earthly things.
The giants in our lives are only giants because we are afraid to fight them. Rise above the fear and they cease to be giants.
